Well, day four with the storm, and it's working like that tireless pink bunny for Energizer. Fay never became (yet) a hurricane, but as a tropical storm, it's certainly causing problems, flooding being so far the worst. Here in Orlando, precipitation since Monday is between 9 and 15 inches!
We are fine. The water level needs to rise another 2.5 to 3 feet to come in our door. We have lots of wind and any trek outside means you'll be wet no matter what you do.

At this point, most of Florida is impatient for Fay to move on. While it seems that this is going to happen, we can't help but hope that this storm doesn't bring our problems to the neighbors who will be forced to greet Fay - probably without welcome.
